DETAILS

1. Opening session

The meeting was chaired by Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek from University of Sakarya. The partners present at the meeting are listed above. In his welcoming words, he wished everyone a healthy day. He asked the attendances whether they would like to say something to others. He asked the condition of the country related about Covid-19 pandemic . Does the situation turn back normal? Prof. Titrek said that it would be a short meeting. Following the opening session, Titrek read the agenda. The meeting focused on need analysis, e-book chapters and IP program.

2. E book chapters

Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek asked all participants about the book chapters, whether there are any issues or problems. Prof. Malcom, the responsible for the book chapters, said that “David took the two documents that are compiled. One is the list of the all office that is good. There are seventeenth chapters that are looking goods. The titles are looking goods. But also, put the documents all together that reminds people of a specification both how it should be structured, but also content. Both of those are on base camp. So that everybody can sign up to that if something you need to clarify the import things.” Prof. Malcom said that he expects to everybody complete the book chapter by the end of January. Then it is going to be edited and get back to people to review and look forward to publish in July, 2022. Anyone can contact with David for any suggestions or comments or thing clarity verification. There are two documents uploaded on the base camp so anyone can download them and follow the specification”. Prof. Osman asked the participants whether they have a problem about writing a book chapter. The writing chapters’ group let others know how the writing process are going on. Each group did not have any issue up to now. Prof. Malcom said that it is better to return early is great because the sooner we need to get working on it. Prof. Dr. Osman Titrek closed the discussion on book chapters and suggested going on with need analysis.

3. Need analysis

Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek stated that he would like to ask about the skill practice for need analysis. There are two scales prepared for one is for entrepreneurship the other is for creativity. Dr. Enrico is the one who is the responsible for creating survey forms and gathering responds. He briefly shared his computer screen so others can see how many students have filled the form up to now. According the record, 2284 students filled to the form and sent it. Prof. Dr. Osman Titrek would like to see the detail information about the records, the students from which countries and which departments filled the form and so on. Dr. Enrico claimed that the survey system (lime survey) does not allow to see how many people from which country replied. He said that it is only possible at the end when the collecting data is closed and then he can say statistical data for different countries. Prof. Dr. Osman Titrek said that we have to see the responds of the students from which country and we have to understand which country responds are enough and which country responds are not. It is the only way to understand a situation. Prof. Malcom wanted to know a minimum requirement for each country. Prof. Carlos tried to explain what it means a minimum requirement for each country. He said that if we want to add some the validity and fidelity of the data so to guarantee that the sample is representative of the population and this also has implications to do the analysis. Some tests are not possible without a certain amount of answer for a country. Nevertheless, this does not mean we are not going to do an analysis descriptive and influential whatever the numbers are we are going to do it. Well, the truth is we need to get back the students’ respond numbers from each country. Enrico said that he is going to ask IT person to see the responds of the participants from the different countries. Prof. Osman also reminded that all the records should be protected in a secure place because we have to prove this to European Nation that we have the data. Please protect the data gathered from the different countries and give them to European Nation. About this issue, Prof. Carlos said that we can give the links of the web pages and some sample of the data but we don’t have to give them the entire data because we also have ethical commitment we have a compromise with the participants that we will not disclose this data. This is called an anonymous or confidential to the researchers. Prof. Osman claimed the same things and said that OK., we have to prove that. Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek moved the topic, IP program.

4. IP Program

Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek asked IP programs. Is there any problem about IP program in January in Turkey? Prof. Dr. Linda said that she does not know right now. She would say that they have problems because they are not allowed to travel now. There are restrictions and they do not know when the restrictions will be ended. The decision will be given in the 15th of November. Prof. Dr. Titrek asked Prof. Malcom the condition in England. Prof. Malcom said that they are waiting for the University to let them know whether students would be ensured they think stuff might be okay but with the students will be waiting for the University to give a decision. Prof. Dr. Titrek asked Prof. Flex to the condition in Romania. He said that the problem is that their students are mostly not vaccinated so they wait for a little bit more. They cannot select the students. They would like to wait for a month until the students decide to do the vaccine.

5. Conclusion

Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek thanked all the participants, arranged the next meeting date and wished a nice healthy day.
