Opening session

The meeting was chaired by Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek from University of Sakarya. The partners present at the meeting are listed above. In his welcoming words, he wished everyone a healthy day. He said that it would be a short meeting. Following the opening session, Titrek read the agenda. The meeting focused on need analysis, e-book chapters and IP program.

E book chapters

There was only one participating group who did not suggest a chapter for the book. Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek asked about if they had a plan to prepare a chapter for the book. Enrico Valeri said that they were working on it and would prepare a chapter. Prof. Titrek asked David Rae to give information about the process since he is the leading researcher of the book. David asked participants to check abstracts if they are the latest versions. He also reminded that the book would be for educators and learners so that the book chapters should be written accordingly. He also added that the draft chapters should be ready by the end of this year. However, the researchers could send it as soon as they finish through Coimbra University submission portal. It is anticipated that the book will be published in May, 2022. Dr.Michelle Biasutti asked about the length of the chapters and David Rae responded it would be between 5,000-6,000 words including references. Dr. Regina Frank pointed that the book should be aligned with the project contract, so she asked about the focus of the book. David Rae said that it would be balanced between entrepreneurship and creativity. Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek also added that chapters should more focus on theoretical background rather than being research based. Prof. Malcom Hoare indicated that he read the contract and the book process was on the right track in terms of its aiming educators and practitioners. Dr. Michelle Biasutti asked which publisher company would release the book and the indexation. David Rae said that he was looking for a high-quality publisher like Emerald. Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek asked if it would be possible to put the European Union and Turkish National Agency logo on the book. Prof.Dr. David Rae said that it would not be a problem. Prof.Dr. Carlos Sousa de Reis added that University of Coimbra should be taken into consideration as a publisher option. Prof.Dr. David Rae said that it would be a good option. David also added that the title of the book was not decided on yet. Carlos suggested that the title of the book should start with the name of the project” Beyond the limits:…..”. Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek suggested a title “Beyond the limits: learning entrepreneurship via creativity in schools”. David Rae said that they could create a title with the combinations of words including the topics. Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek closed the discussion on book chapters and suggested going on with need analysis.

Need analysis

Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek stated that he sent all the documents for need analysis in English to all participants. Dr. Dan Patrica asked the deadline of need analysis. Titrek pointed that October would be OK. Carlos added that all the translated versions should be on the platform so they should hurry to translate it into Romanian language.

IP Program

Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek also wanted to discuss IP program. He said that it could be organized in January and according to project proposal it should be in Turkey. Titrek also added that if the participants agree, he could organize the IP program in September in Turkey. It was also discussed to postpone it until April. Prof.Dr. Carlos Reis said that either September or January would be OK for him. Dr. Michelle Biasutti expressed that February would be nice for him. Dr. Dan Patrica suggested deciding and stick to that plan for the IP program. Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek suggested to decide on either between 9th and 22nd of January or 18th to 29th January. The first week would be online and the second week would be face to face activities. The participants decided on 18th to 29th of January. Dr. Michelle Biasutti suggested conducting IP program in Antalya. Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek said that he would consider it ask the possibility to the National Agency. Prof.Dr. Malcom Hoare suggested discussing both the date and venue in September. The next meeting was decided on 10th of September at 4 p.m.

Conclusion

Prof.Dr. Osman Titrek thanked all the participants and wished a nice summer holiday.
